Our Story
Mbuelo is a brand name of Mbuelo (Pty) Ltd and was launched in October 2025 and can be considered a late entrant to the ecommerce marketplace that is already dominated by major South African and international players. Although the market is dominated by big players, this didn’t scare us, simply because they can’t cater for everyone, and more importantly, truly they can not solve all problems facing entrepreneurs, small businesses and other enterprises.
In short, Mbuelo is an ecommerce marketplace platform that offers an alternative resource to the mass market of small businesses that can not afford to build their own ecommerce site or services offered by big market players in this space to sell their products and services online at an affordable rate. It features products ranging from arts and crafts, books, building materials, clothing, farm produce, firewood and more to both sellers and buyers.
