Mbuelo is a South African e-commerce platform for buyers and sellers. By selling on Mbuelo, you gain access to online customer base. The cost of doing business on Mbuelo is also low, providing a lucrative opportunity for sellers.

Selling on Mbuelo is a simple process. Create an account, a valid mobile number, an email ID, bank account, and address details. List your products on the platform and manage orders. You can choose to pack and ship the products yourself or utilize Mbuelo delivery service for hassle-free logistics management. Payments are made every 7 days from the date of product dispatch.

To start selling, you only need a minimum of 1 product to list. However, it is recommended to have more products to leverage the wide customer reach.

To register and sell products on Mbuelo, you will need the following details:
Your Business information
Your Contact details (email ID and phone number)
Your Tax registration details for taxable products

Mbuelo offers a wide range of categories for sellers and buyers to choose from, agriculture, beauty and cosmetics, building, clothing, home and kitchen, water, firewood and many more. However, approval may be required to some categories prior to going live on the platform.

Absolutely! You can sell on Mbuelo without having a website. Once registered,  you can list your products and start selling. Please note that Mbuelo charges a monthly subscription fee to list on it’s platform and a small commission fee when your product is sold.

Mbuelo currently allows sellers to sell only physical products on the platform.

To list your products on Mbuelo, you need to following:

  1. Choose the appropriate category for your product
  2. Provide detailed product information such as size, model, colour, brand, etc.
  3. If you need any assistance or guidance, you can always reach out to the Mbuelo Seller Support Team.

To list products, you need to provide product details, set competitive prices, include high-quality images, manage your inventory, and provide accurate shipping information.

Orders are managed on Mbuelo seller dashboard. You can pack and ship the orders yourself using your preferred packaging and shipping to your customers or you can use Mbuelo delivery services, where you handle packaging and Mbuelo ship the product for you to the customer.

Yes, Mbuelo offers paid value-add services to help sellers enhance their product images and descriptions. 

Mbuelo charges a monthly subscription fee for listing your products on its platform and a small percentage fee of the selling price of the product.

 

As a seller, you have full control over the pricing of your products. 

Once your product is picked up and successfully delivered to the customer, you will receive payment in 7 days. Payments are regularly transferred directly to your registered bank account after deducting the relevant Mbuelo fees.

Yes, Sellers may be eligible for monetary compensation for orders where the returned products have been damaged or missing.

Yes, customers can leave feedback and ratings for the products they purchase.

Customer feedback is important as it helps build trust and credibility for the seller. Positive feedback and high ratings enhance the seller’s reputation, attracting more customers and increasing sales. It also provides valuable insights for sellers to improve their products and services.
